At Kevin Barry Art Advisory, I worked as a Graphics Artist in the Graphics Department.
In addition to formatting artwork for print production, I created concept artwork for proposal packages that were sent to clients. I worked closely with art directors and coordinators to make sure the artwork complied with the client’s vision.
I designed print artwork concepts, wall covering concepts, and sculptural concepts.
I also color edited artwork.
Concept Art
I created print media concept artwork for both small and large scale print pieces.
Each piece was made under the guidance of art directors at KBAA and followed client brand aesthetics.
Direction: Create a set of four images featuring landmarks, flora and fauna of the area, all following a moody atmosphere.
direction: The client wanted guest room artwork to feature historical documents and photographs from the area as well as blueprints from an invention patented at the college.
Direction: create artwork featuring ballerinas and the iconic Bethesda fountain in Central Park. The client wanted nods to art deco with gold accents and geometric shapes.
direction: create an ocean theme whimsical custom wallpaper for a pediatric therapy office featuring balloon animals.
Sculpture Concepts
Following the art director’s guides, I designed sculptures and occasionally made mock-ups of sculptures in client spaces.
Color Editing
I edited the color of licensed images to comply with client brand aesthetics.
